3. Visiting Our Website

When you visit our website, the web server automatically stores the following data in server log files:

If you contact us by telephone, email or WhatsApp, we process the data you provide (name, telephone number, email address, message content) exclusively for the purpose of handling your enquiry.

4.1 Telephone and Email

Your contact details are stored in our practice management system and retained, after completion of the enquiry or the treatment relationship, in accordance with the statutory retention periods.

4.2 WhatsApp

We offer the option of contacting us via WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). When using WhatsApp, data is transmitted to Meta, which may operate servers in the USA. Meta processes at least your telephone number and metadata. We recommend that you do not send sensitive health data via WhatsApp.

5. Google Maps

Our website offers the option of displaying a Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited) map. The map is only loaded after you actively click on the “Load map” button (two-click solution). Only then is data transmitted to Google.

When the map is loaded, Google learns your IP address and may set cookies. Google may transfer data to the USA.

6. Fonts

On this website we use fonts that are stored locally on our server (self-hosting). When the fonts are loaded, no connections to external servers (e.g. Google Fonts) are established.

Your IP address is truncated and is not combined with other data. Google may transfer data to the USA on the basis of standard contractual clauses. We use Google Consent Mode: as long as you have not consented, Google receives neither cookies nor identifiers from you.

8. Patient Reviews

On our website we display excerpts from publicly available Google reviews. These contain the reviewer’s first name and the first letter of their surname, as published on Google Reviews. This data originates from a publicly accessible source.

If, as a reviewer, you wish to have your review removed from our website, please contact us.

9. Patient Data in the Context of Treatment

In the course of dental treatment, we process particularly sensitive personal data (health data) in accordance with Art. 5 lit. c DSG. This data is used exclusively for treatment and billing purposes and is subject to professional confidentiality.

Health data is retained for at least 10 years in accordance with cantonal and federal retention obligations.

We employ appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse (Art. 8 DSG). Our website is delivered over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
